Headshots in New York City are serious business - according to ahrefs.com (a leading internet metrics provider), headshot searches on google are the most competitive photography related search topic in all of NYC. And that is because the competition amongst the people that need them (actors, singers, comedians, musicians, theatre performers, and alike) is equally as fierce. A brilliant headshot can mean getting that call-in from a casting director you’ve been waiting your entire life for, getting bookmarked on backstage, or simply feeling that for the first time since you embarked on this journey, you have something you’re proud of that represents you.
This being the case, good headshots don’t come cheap - though that shouldn’t keep you from getting what you deserve. I’ve a number of packages designed for all budgets, wallets, and walks of life.
Headshots for both Print and Digital
I get it, you want headshots that’ll make your backstage profile sizzle and you want headshots that’ll make your instagram sing. Prints, however, are also a necessity for any serious actor, and that’s why I create images that are separately geared towards both a 72dpi, RGB-colorspace digital existence, and a 300DPI, CMYK-colorspace headshot fit to live a physically printed existence.
I work with a small number of providers, and so if you’re looking for a headshot printer in nyc specifically, I can for sure point you in the right direction.
The Packages and Prices

The Mini Session
The mini-session comes with fifeen minutes of studio time, a choice between either a grey or white backdrop, and one retouch.
This session is geared towards performers that are either new to the industry or have an upcoming audition they need to crush (and trust me, it will be crushed).

The Working or Serious Actor
This is the most standard and popular headshot package available, offering up to 90 minutes of studio time, a choice between either grey, white, or custom backdrops, as well as multiple looks in both commercial, legit, or both.
Three retouches are included with this package, along with the full catalogue of images taken over the course of the shoot.

You're Robert Deniro or Cate Blanchett
You’re a working actor or performer that takes this craft and this profession to the highest level of dedication.
Coming with up to two and a half hours, this in-studio shoot is conducted on a 100 megapixel medium format, Fuji GFX 100 (a camera reserved mostly for advertising and commercial campaigns). Five Retouches, unlimited looks, multiple backdrops, and two different lighting setups are included with this session.
