Established in 2013, Joe Jenkins Photography has been photographing weddings, engagements, rehearsals, and all else in between in the New York City area for over a decade. As a well known and established New York City fashion photographer, my wedding photography establishes a healthy and unique balance of portraiture, documentarian, and editorial styles of photography.
From elopements and more intimate New York City affairs to massive three day festivals hosted in the Hamptons, my work has enabled me to traverse an extremely wide variety of weddings, venues, celebrations, and engagements.
My services are unique and my work stands well outside the realm of traditional wedding photography - and you can see this in each and every one of my images. With a principle focus on capturing the raw, intimate, and deep emotions found within this once-in-a-lifetime experience, I strive to make each and every one of my images a painting of the day’s reality.
Portraiture of any kind is on the whole my focus and what I’ve devoted the majority of my career in photography towards - even events and weddings are primarily a form of portraits in action, if you think about it.

I shoot proposals as well and am happy to blend in with the surrounding environment, pop out at the right time with two cameras hidden under an overcoat, and capture all the glory and joy of the moment.

My event photography is second to none and I have all of the artistry, creativity, and technical proficiency to ensure that your rehearsal dinner is documented in a way that ensures your rehearsal images are just as timeless as the stellar wedding photos that you’re bound to create.
