PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY AND HEADSHOTS NYC

A professional NYC photographer with 17+ years of experience in the market, my work is focused primarily on nyc headshots, portraiture, and event coverage.

a professional photographer for NYC that stands out.

You’re here because you need a professional photographer of some type, and the type of photographer I am most likely happens to be the sort you’re looking for - so congratulations to the both of us!

But alright, so as it happens, I’m a professional photographer that specializes in headshots and other things for the NYC market. As well, I’m a pretty surgical and from what I hear talented event photographer, and so if that’s why you’re here, then check out my event photographer portfolio.

This being said and back on topic, I take a lot of headshots and I work primarily out of my 1000sqft studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. There is where the magic happens, and I excel at professional headshot photography for actors, corporate executives, people that need headshots for Linkedin, and provide portraiture for press kits, author bios, and more.

Why hire me?

Seriously, I know what you’re thinking. You’ve probably googled the search term ‘headshots nyc’ and come across the amazing set of photographers contained on the first page of results. And I don’t deny the fact that they’re all amazing photographers that are all producing stunning work, but don’t you think it all sort of looks…the same?

I love David Noles and I think his headshots were really groundbreaking, but that didn’t make me want to start producing the exact same work as him.

I have my own style and my own flavor and I value my visual identity.

My headshots are a bit different than everyone else’s. I don’t always use the exact same lighting setup. I don’t always use the exact same composition. And irrespective of this, they’re powerful every time.

Because after all, you’re here to stand out, right? You’re here because when someones looking at your About me page, when a casting director is flicking through a pile of headshots, or when someones flicking through images on LinkedIn, you want your image to pop out and more so than everyone else’s. And yeah, sure, it may be stunning. But if every image in that stack is the same flavor of stunning, then stunning is suddenly an average.

So reach out to me. And think a little different. And don’t be the same version of stunning as everyone else.

Actor Headshots

  • I can do commercial, legit, or both.

  • The last actor I did headshots for saw a 30% increase in his audition rate. Seriously.

Corporate Headshots

  • 1000sqft in Williamsburg with the most expensive lighting available; along with big bay windows.

  • There’s a direct correlation between how valuable your headhot looks and how valuable you in turn look to your peers.

LinkedIn Headshots

  • You’re in and you’re out.

  • It all begins with an idea. Maybe you Choose between a white or grey backdrop.

  • I’ve been a photographer for roughly 17 years now and by luck and happenstance completely fell into the occupation.

  • I feel like the thing that separates me from most others is my sense of taste. That, at the end of the day, is all photography is - someone expressing or articulating their taste through a camera. When you hire me you’re not just hiring some technician that can operate a slightly more sophisticated version of the camera found in an iphone. You’re hiring someone with vision and direction and an inborn narrative - and someone that can translate all of that into the product that you are here for.

  • I have all five star reviews on google and, if given the time, could direct you to the numerous customers and clients I have that don’t decorate that page. I maintain relationships that go beyond business and with each and every customer I interact with, because I care deeply about my product.

  • Across the boards, I generally get everything out within 3-5 business days. Rush and expedited delivery is always available, whether it be two days or overnight, but typically all clients can expect usually a one week turn around for deliverables.

  • Event Photography and Portraiture/Headshots are my core focuses. I do many things outside of those fields extremely well, but at the end of the day, the above mentioned is what I choose to spend the largest portion of my time directed at. This being said, events typically encompass conferences and other corporate events, as well as private and social. Headshots and portraiture are fairly self explanatory, and I spend the bulk of my time working with actors, executives, and professionals in general.

  • My studio is a 1000SQFT installation in East Williamsburg. The lighting I’ve outfitted it with is the best you can get (all Profoto) and I rotate around between three different camera bodies, depending on the shoot.

  • There are zero hidden fees anywhere. And if a fee crops up that should have been included prior to our agreement, I’ll likely void it, as I’m a big fan of transparency. This being said, fees are typically broken down into hourly rates, per subject portraits (in high volume
